DMT D8F 8-Inch Dia-Sharp Continuous Diamond Fine
I've always been a bit hesitant about sharpening with diamond stones, but this one is amazing. A great combination of rapid material removal, coupled with a creamy finish, leaving the user in complete control of the edge. The weight of the metal slab holds the stone to the bench surface on the grippy rubber feet, supplied.
Easy clean up too. I highly recommend this product.

Good product. Reasonable price. Good length to work moderately fast on long and large knives. It must be dried after use to prevent some rusting. Better if supported by a holder/base.
California warning label
What 's troubling is the CA. warning label stating: this product contains nickel a chemical known to CA. to cause cancer. Used 3X so far - what I expected from a diamond stone, cuts very quickly, and the stone comes with stick-on rubber feet. The metal base the diamonds are bonded to is quite heavy, I'm guessing about 2lbs with 8"X3"X3/8" dimensions.
