A really cool fan.
This fan was super-easy to assemble. The only tools required were opposable thumbs. I love the breeze feature, which makes the fan cycle through all the speeds. The remote also makes this fan great for use in the bedroom. I'm very pleased with this fan and I would recommend.
Energy efficient and cool!
Last night was the worst night ever! The fan that I had for 5 years completely died on me and I am so used to the "white noise" sound that I was unable to sleep. I live in a semi-tropical climate so I was terribly warm as well and that doesn't help sleep either. Needless to say, I was desperate to find a fan to replace the old one. However, this is off-season and most stores are only selling portable heaters -- not cooling fans. I went to 4 different stores before finding this Lasko fan at a home improvement store. It was the display model and did not have a remote or an owner's manual. I got it for $10 off the original price. I got it home, threw the old one out, and placed this in its spot. WOW! Quite a difference in operation. I love how quickly this fan powers up and down when the power button is pressed. Best fan I have ever owned!
I bought this fan for my Wife because She cannot stand the heat. I did not want to spend a lot of money but I also did not want a cheap version either. This fan functions very well, the remote feature is a plus and the amount of air it puts out is extremly satisfactory. It is also not too loud that we cannot leave it on while we sleep.
