Good replacement part for my Whirlpool washer
This is the second time I have had to replace this lid switch. I think it is a design flaw, as this little plastic switch takes a lot ot beating during the zillions of times the lid is opened and closed.
Not a good fit
The switch did not fit my washer properly, and it broke as I was trying to get it to seat properly in my washer. The switch was a little off in its manufacturing, my washer lid would not engage the switch unless I was pushing down on the switch. Not sure how well the company stands by their product because I did not attempt to return it because I broke it when trying to install.
Part as describe
Item was not an exact clone of the broken part but the differences were not relevant to the installation. Installation was simply, the part worked perfectly and has continued to work since installation. Best price I could find and shipping was quick.
