Makita BCF201Z 18-volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Jobsite Fan Tool Only

It comes with an AC adapter!
This is another very well thought out Makita device. It fits the convenient and portable fan niche beautifully. You can take it with you wherever you go with ease. A fantastic workbench or or "close quarter" fan to keep you comfortable while working; or just to circulate the air around the area. It works equally as well on the batteries as it does on the AC adapter that comes with it. On low speed, which is my speed of choice, it operated for at least several hours on a fully charged (new) battery. It is all push button controlled with two fan speeds and a timer option, should you chose to have it automatically shut off (1,2 or 4 hr choices.) If you already have Makita tools, batteries and chargers, don't deny yourself this addition. My wife has already usurped my Makita vacuum for the kitchen floor; this fan is next in her line of sight for when she peels and cuts up onions.

Great Product
I got this for camping mainly but it works so well I use it everywhere and so much I had to but extra batteries too. Great!

I really like it.
I had an Amazon gift certificate, so i kind of went for something that i would not normally get. I usually am buying things i NEED like more saw blades, drill bits, batteries, etc. for my home improvement work.
This was going to be a fun gift for myself, though still work related. But I find i really like it and have used it a few times. It folds up to be fairly slim and unobtrusive in the truck, puts out some decent air, and i find myself using it more every day. It's been hot in the northeast for a few weeks now, so i will pop in a battery and run it next to me when i am working whether inside or out. It def helps the personal comfort level. Make note though, It is not big enough to cool a room and keep more than one guy happy.
One more thing...i used it twice to blow air on some joint compound in a drywall repair. Guys that use anything water based know that air helps the drying speed (paint, caulk, drywall mud) and i don't always have a 20" box fan or an outlet handy...
