I bought two of these filters for about the same price as the Whirlpool filters. When it comes to appliance parts don't panic, because a part is made from another country. It fits, but causes a weird taste.
This product fits well enough, it is a pinch smaller than the original but fits. Everyone in my family has said it caused a weird taste. The taste is a lot like old metal pipes. Some of my family says it tastes like chemicals. I would not buy this again for myself. But the price is decent, possibly worth trying once for yourself if if the taste doesn't bother you, you have a good deal. If the taste does bother you, you're out $20.00 like we were.
